Sports arbitration as a new developing legal phenomenon in Uzbekistan

Abstract

Abstract. The author of the article analyzed the level of development of the sports sphere in our
country (adopted normative legal acts, and other practical measures) from the period of independence
to the present day. In particular, the attention of the government to sports, the relevance of ensuring
the worthy participation of athletes in international competitions, the observance of a healthy lifestyle
by the population, the role of three-stage internal sports competitions aimed at educating a harmonious
generation, training worthy followers of athletes were emphasized. While the practice of sports
arbitration has already developed in many countries, the author noted that in Uzbekistan this practice
has not yet found its application, the unformed legislative and scienti􀏔ic base leads to some problems.
In order to further develop this area in Uzbekistan, the researcher studied foreign experience, scienti􀏔ic
papers and precedents, and also presented relevant proposals and recommendations for the development
of this area in our country.
