Professor Said Saidakhrarovich Gulyamov, Head of the Cyber Law Department at Tashkent State University of Law, delivered a presentation on “Digital transformation strategies of the Uzbek government” at an international scientific and practical conference held today at TSUL.
The presentation was part of the first panel session on Digital Transformation during the international conference titled “Digital transformation and cooperation in legal studies between Uzbekistan and Korea.” The event coincided with the official opening ceremony of the new “Korean Law and Research Center” at Tashkent State University of Law.
The conference brought together prominent figures from both Uzbekistan and Korea, including Sherzad Rabiyev, Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Do Yeon WON, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan; and Islambek Rustambekov, Acting Rector of Tashkent State University of Law.
During the ceremony, several important agreements were signed, including a Memorandum of Understanding between Tashkent State University of Law and the Law Schools of Ajou and Inha Universities, as well as between the Korean Law and Research Center and the AI-DATA Law Center at Inha University.
Other notable speakers at the conference included Byung Chun SO, Dean of Ajou Law School; Won Oh KIM, Director of the AI-DATA Law Center at Inha University; and Yakubov Akhtam Nusratulloyevich, Deputy Rector for International Relations and Continuing Study.
The conference concluded with closing remarks by Oh Seung KWON, Honorary Professor of the Law School at Seoul National University, who was also presented with the title of Honorary Professor of Tashkent State University of Law.
