A Korea Law and Research Center has been established at Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL). The opening ceremony was attended by the leadership of Tashkent State University of Law, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Do Yeon Won, Honorary Professor of Seoul National University Law School Dr. Oh Seung Kwon, Dean of Ajou University Law School Dr. Byung Chun So, Dean of Inha University Law School Dr. Young Hoa Son, representatives of KOICA’s office in Uzbekistan, distinguished foreign guests, TSUL professors, and students.
Following the discussions, memorandums of understanding were signed between Tashkent State University of Law and Ajou University Law School, Inha University Law School, as well as between the Korea Law and Research Center and the AI-DATA Legal Center at Inha University.
During the event, presentations were delivered by Dr. Akhtam Yakubov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Continuing Education at TSUL, Dr. Said Gulyamov, Head of the Cyber Law Department at TSUL, Dr. Byung Chun So, Dean of Ajou University Law School, and Dr. Won Oh Kim, Director of the AI-DATA Legal Center at Inha University. The presentations covered various topics and were followed by productive exchanges of ideas.
